Scoop From the Coop – Issue 7

On November 14th of this year Chickie’s Bail Bonds again honored the criminal defense attorneys who have continued to support us throughout the 29 years we have been privileged to serve the legal community. This year’s event was held at “Josie”, a very special restaurant located in Santa Monica. The photographs here illustrate what a good time was had by all.

Our very first “Attorney Thank You Party” was held in 1989 at Marks Restaurant on La Cienega, a very small unpretentious outdoor restaurant with flapping plastic panels providing little or no protection from the showers that frequently plagued our evenings.

After a few years we moved up to Primi on Pico, a delightful offshoot of Valentino’ s a well-known Santa Monica restaurant. We were obliged to find another venue when Primi abruptly closed sending us happily into the arms of Melisse on Wilshire in Santa Monica and to the delightful Wilshire Restaurant at 25th and Wilshire. Throughout the years each of these evenings have been unique and special in their own way; given with our love and affection.

We are touched by those lawyers, many of whom have been with us since our very first party, who announce how they look forward each year to the Chickie’s Bail Bonds holiday party as the kickoff to the holiday season. We are excitedly looking forward to our 2014 extravaganza when we will celebrate thirty years of serving the legal community.

From all of us at “Chickie’s”, may you enjoy the Happiest – the Merriest – and look forward to a wonderful New Year.

An Unsolicited Acknowledgement…
From Richard Solomon, Esq.
We received a lovely acknowledgment from our friends – Richard and Trish
Solomon. We want to share this with you.
“My Dear Chickie, Karen, Debbie and Mitch:
Thanks, once again, for a truly lovely and thoroughly enjoyable time last Thursday evening at Josie. But, it was far more than just a party. By hosting these annual galas, you afford many of us who do not see each other that often the opportunity to renew friendships, to share stories and to catch up”.

Happy New Year from Mitch

Dear Friends,
It is so exciting for us at Chickie’s Bail Bonds to realize that we are now going into our thirtieth year in business!
We continue to love every aspect of this business, especially taking extra care of your clients in every circumstance that may arise.
Each and every one of the attorneys we serve is special to us. I want to acknowledge that it is because of all of you that our business continues to flourish and prosper.
As we look forward to the New Year, we will continue to provide professional, caring and compassionate bail bond service with pride and integrity.
With thanks and appreciation and best wishes for a Happy New Year.
Mitch Leventhal

From Karen….

I would like to share an interesting story with you that I call:

A teenage girl flew in her private jet from Los Angeles to New York for a day of shopping in Manhattan.

She returned a bit tired with a plane full of designer bags, shoes, and clothes looking a little sad. Her mother asked what was wrong.

The little girl said: “Fifi has a bigger jet and Daddy won’t buy me one….”

She had no idea how many children in this world would be happy with a little food let alone to be envious of another’s private jet!

My message this holiday season is find someone less fortunate in need of a helping hand and remember:

There will always be a “Fifi” with a bigger jet.

If you are reading this you are among the top of the top so just take a moment to think about giving to someone less fortunate and I guarantee you will reap as much or more joy from giving your gift than they will In receiving it.

Best wishes,
From your off site Marketing Director

P.S. We all enjoyed our annual holiday party and we very much look forward to next year’s Gala 30 year celebration. If you have never attended but would like to be invited please call the
office and talk to Mitch
